DAY 2

A day of discovery, and some dismay... The Sorceror, Elf, and Witch-King travel through the leafy bowers of the Realm, completely mapping the Great Forest for those who will come after. The Guard and the Amazon forge into the depths, starting their exploration of the caves and caverns of the Realm. Those in the loftier pinnacles of the land meet with a different fate, beset by Dragons, Trolls, and Giants. All but one such adventurer thankfully hidden... the Captain must now ponder what will be his fate as his erstwhile traveling companion looks on from a wisely hidden vantage.

Meanwhile, the Swordsman plunders the spoils at the Inn and proclaims himself the new leader of the Rogues, a title which fits him very well. Not even the fastest of his men can catch him with his newest prize, soft slippers of fair elven craft. The Magician arrives late to find the larger portion of the treasure gone, his men oblivious to the whereabouts of the remaining horses, and not particularly inclined to help him gather them up. Sir George attempts to make use of his Blessed Book, but instead triggers a curse set upon it by the disgruntled Chapel librarian. His cries of outrage attract a wandering Giant from the nearby cliff, which should be short work for the angry Knight.

Frog rests his webbed feet after a long hop through the forests, and makes an evening meal of the very abundant mosquitos

After a day of tracking, the Elf peers out from his hiding place at his mortal enemies, the Lancers, bow at the ready - certain as anything that they would battle him (6,1) did they but know of his presence

Swordsman and the Magician eye each other warily, while their men size each other up. The Company sits nearby in comfortable companionship with all, polishing their swords and listening for the occasional whinny of horses on the loose.

Witch and her kitty ponder the T Flying Dragon and the unexpected Giant, wondering how this abundance of monsters might affect their plans

In the stillness of evening, the Amazon listens to the quiet sound of water dripping ... could it be stalactites over a pool nearby?

The Captain looks around in dismay at the Trolls that seem to have materialized out of nowhere, wishing he had brought the rest of his men along. Wizard looks on from hiding, wondering if he can do anything to help or if he should leave his less cautious companion to his fate.

The White Knight glowers at the Giant and raises his sword, impiously visualizing the librarian in its place, and wondering if he will have to make a trip back to the Chapel to get rid of this dratted curse.

Eduinae looks around at the faint traces of an ancient castle, underneath the overgrown forest. Feeling honor-bound to take only what is freely offered, she leaves the best clues that she can to its whereabouts and moves on to spread the news.
