DAY 7

Adventurers converge on the Pool and begin to search out its secrets, a few hanging back to make use of the Day 7 color magic and enchant the Borderlands and neighboring tiles. Sorceror and Witch-King spend their misty day haunting the Hoard, and taunting the hapless and frustrated Spider. Swordsman gets up early and rushes to the Small Campfire, where he stands firm against the might Dragon and prevents her from looting her treasures. Elf begins looting the Shrine, but finding nothing of interest to Eduinae looking on, she packs up and heads to the Statue in the hopes of finding magic more friendly to elvenkind.

The Magician once again plays his strange tune and pacifies the Goblins, in a slightly different key from last night. Elf's Ogre-friend handily takes care of the little Spider problem that the Deep Woods is having, and enjoys munching on spider-legs for dinner. The Swordsman taunts the Witch-Dragon while making a speedy exit from the clearing, after which the Dragon turns its attention to causing mayhem among the Bashkars. Half-way through decimating their ranks, the erstwhile Dragon starts to feel thin around the edges, and beats a hasty retreat so that she can return to Witch-form away from pointy spears and swords. The Campfire-hoard grows ever larger, a beacon to treasure-hungry travellers, jealously guarded by the remaining denizens to whom it used to belong.

Sunset

The Goblins suddenly look more menacingly at the Magician, as the Deal with Goblins spell expires. In the neighboring Crag, the Phantasm spell also expires (Phantasm disappears, Magician's Magic VI4* chit fatigues)

White Knight, Captain, Amazon, and the Guard have a Pool party, though there is more than a little tension in the air. Wizard, hearing the sounds of water splashing and nervous laughter nearby, feels left out, although his camp is far more comfortable and peaceful.

T Flying Dragon looms over the tiny Swordsman, as the remaining Lancer daringly insults her for killing all his comrades, "you can't catch me... clumsy Dragon, hahaha!" (battling roll (1,4) Insult). Both the Bashkars and the Lancers look relieved that the Swordsman is standing up to the Dragon, and don't interfere with his brave stand (battling rolls (1,1) and (4,3)).

Sorceror and Witch-King continue to waft about the clearing, giggling at the Spider and trying to look menacing.

Elf sighs as yet another Spider appears from the depths of Mirkwood, catching him unhidden this time.
